Studio Ghibli And Colorful Footage

Studio Ghibli has been associated with what is called childhood and brings something called memories of its innocent years until now.

Ghibli gives me indescribable emotions, it’s gentle, simple and reflects countless things around us under that beauty. The studio has shown small and simple things into movies, it makes me cry and laugh with every moment with the movie. It has its own distinction and goes against it to create its own uniqueness and become the leading bird of the Japanese animation background.

The fairy picture is covered with earthly dust

Although Ghibli is not as beautiful on each frame as the junior films like Your Name or Weathering with you by Shinkai Makoto with films that have a strong smell of sadness mixed with sunny colors, it brings something very ordinary and simple.

Ghibli’s films reflect a very “human” thing that is represented by drawing characters with their own strengths and weaknesses and their own sorrows. All the characters of the movie are like that, have personalities called selfish, irresponsible, have what people call indifference, they also have losses and memories.
Do you remember Grave of the Fireflies, the late director Takahata Isao made an animated movie but it was not for children at all. Two children trying to live with bombs on their heads. The light of fireflies flying in the night mixed with the colors of war. Or Spirited Away, do you know the scene of bathing the river god, in that slimy pile there are bicycles, garbage bags, even toilets and whether that pollutes the environment?
Ghibli don’t need a princess, they don’t have a prince, they have a very “human” wonderland: saints with smug rage, guests with their own selfishness. Each Ghibli character has its own story, its own memory.

The footage flows in the soul and the colors of life.

Live for yourself, live your youth – Howl’s Moving Castle

Howls Moving Castle - Studio Ghibli Store

Howl’s Moving Castle is one of Ghibli’s must-see films. A young girl with a mature soul, a magician of unknown origin. The footage flows smoothly with peaceful city scenes, poetic fields and even wars. Each character represents a “human”: a girl who thinks “old” and has to turn into an old woman; a strange mage who loves beauty; a useful witch selfish; a warlike, aggressive king, … Miyazaki Hayao has painted poetic and even wars in a chaotic world.

Selfishness, greed, hard work and altruism – Spirited Away

Spirited Away - Studio Ghibli Store

Miyazaki Hayao’s Spirited Away won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2002. A film about a teenage girl, a god who forgets herself, a greedy, selfish mistress, and even faceless – someone who is neither a god nor a monster. Spirited Away exposes selfishness, greed, and altruism. When people’s hearts are put on the scale, when gold and money are put on top, and when greed sells humanity. In addition, Spirited Away also installs things like environmental pollution, love and friendship, …

When the hearts of the people are forsaken to live, when the guns kill the peace – Grave of the Fireflies

Grave of the Fireflies - Studio Ghibli Store

Grave of the Fireflies is a film written and filmed by the late director Takahata Isao. This is probably the most haunting movie I’ve ever seen. The Grave of Fireflies depicts war naked, it makes us scared from the image of the mother who died from burns to the tragic deaths of two brothers Seita and Setsuko. The film reflects war in a fierce way, when people’s hearts are put aside in order to survive. Fireflies appear as hauntingly playing ghosts. An innocent little sister died of malnutrition, diarrhea and loss of consciousness. A brother who loved his sister to the fullest, died of hunger, was sick, and curled up. Horrible and strangely terrifying images. The film also reflects the nobility, indifference and high ego of the Japanese people through the image of a brother and passers-by.
